The MAAA Incident Report Form can now be found here.
Required by VARMS committee when things go wrong at the field.
It’s not about being disciplined, filling out the form
will probably show any errors. It’s about the committee knowing what is going on
down at the field, and being ready to answer any questions asked.
At present,
models landing out side the fence line need documenting, so as we can monitor
any problems before they become a real problem.
All completed forms should be forwarded to the committee ASAP.

40 Years is a long, long time, and VARMS has been around for that long. This publication cannot hope to cover every event in the 40 year history of VARMS and why should it, that has already been done very well by Ex-President and Life Member Des Bayliss and is available through the VARMS website? and it is a very good read, chock full of lots of good ?stuff?.

Slope flyers are a unique breed made up of many nationalities, disciplines and opinions. Because of the changing nature of slope sites and different owner?s requirements, it is hard for everyone to agree and implement a set of rules for slope flying. Thus, here we try and develop a set of guidelines for all to follow that will help us fully enjoy our sport.
