What a surprise, a sunny day with a light wind. 6 competitors fronted to do battle for the VARMS Trophy for 2006/7. Lift conditions were extremely varied with only an occasional thermal. The landing task was a simple rectangle, 15m by 5m, with an into wind approach. However, only 8 successful landings out of 30 attempts! (Something to practise over winter, me thinks!)

The tasks were 2, 3, 4, 5mins with a final round of 2mins with 2 loops included. A lot of fun was had by all especially as nearly everyone was able to watch each landing and provide suitable critiques. See you next season.
