The new field is about to get a fence around it. The fence will go along the west edge of our existing strip and will impact power flying.

As such, the power operations will be closed while the fence is being erected, and a new  strip will be put in  as soon as possible.

WHEN… probably in the 1st  week in December, so the aerotow for the 5th may be impacted

The shed will stay until Dec 12th so our December meeting is all go… Concours  comp, Membership raffle and glider/electric flying

At the same time, we will get a new  entrance, further to the west, almost under the power lines

There is other good news just around the corner, and I think most members will be quite excited about what is about to take place, and in fact it should  be announced at the Christmas meeting.

 So,  check here to see if a “Field closed” sign is in place
